appointments and early pick-ups
Absences
-
If you plan to keep your child home due to illness, or any other reason, you must notify me by 7 am that day. I also expect to be notified if you anticipate being late in dropping off your child in the morning. You are required to pay regardless if the child has attended every day.

After three times no show no call care is terminated
Appointments or Early Pickup

Please notify me when you drop your child off in the morning if you will be picking your child up early that day, or if your child has an appointment and will be leaving, and returning again later in the day.
Termination
-
Either the parent or provider has the right to terminate service for any reason, providing a 2 week written notice is given and fees must be paid up to date.

Imitate termination is allowed if the child becomes unsafe around other children.

Imitate termination is allowed if the parent is disrespectful to the provider or other parents in the program. If a child breaks anything of value on purpose parents will be responsible for paying for the item in full value
Vacation
-
The provider will have one week of paid leave and two sick days each year. Family leave may not be taken the same time as the provider’s leave. Families get two sick unpaid days and one-week unpaid vacation after 6 months of enrollment but must give the provider two-week notice prior to vacation.
Fees

Part-Time $38/day (2 days a week)

Full Time $35/day

Infant Care $40/day (4 weeks to 18 months)

Transportation $10/day

Discount is given for multiples (10% off oldest child's tuition)
Payments
-
Payment is nonrefundable up to a two week period. Payments are to be in cash or apple pay, check. Any returned checks will be charged $50. They need to be paid in full on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. They need to be paid in full on the 1st and 3rd of each month by the end of the day 5:30. Late fee begins at 5:31 unless prior communication with the provider about payment. The child will not be allowed to return until payment has been made in full. A late fee of $10 a day will be accessed up to 5 days after that care can be terminated. Make checks out to Amanda Cory. Payment is due even if child is not there that day.
Teachers
. Teachers are responsible for paying full tuition during the school year. Summer break half the month tuition is due.
Deposit :
. I require a week’s deposit to hold the slot for all children in care. If care is needed farther than one month out the parent is responsible for paying half the months tuition to hold the slot every month until care is needed. These are Nonrefundable !
Holidays

The provider will be closed on the following holidays. Please arrange for alternative care on those days. If you need care on these days you must pay an extended rate of $45/day per child with the provider's approval. All federal and observed holidays off.

Meals

The provider participates in the food program and provides breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. If your child has any food allergies or other special’ dietary needs, please let me know.

If you are breastfeeding your child, please let me know what accommodations I can make to help meet yours and your baby’s schedule and space needs.

No outside food brought in besides birthday and parties with providers permission.

Kirkland Infant Formula with Iron is house formula.
Supplies
Parents are responsible for supplying

________a package of diapers, container of wipes. (Provider will keep these in the home and let you know when the supply is low.)

_______Parents must ensure that children are dressed according to the weather.

_______ Sunblock if you prefer a kind other than Up & Up

_______ Formula if you prefer a kind other than Kirkland Infant Formula with Iron.

_______ Infants must have socks, extra clothes, bottles (if you have a special one you use) and shoes if mobile.

_______Each child must have two to three sets of clothes on hand according to the weather. Pants, shorts, tops, underwear, pullups, and socks.

______Parents are encouraged to bring in hard bottom house shoes to wear inside the home.

Transportation

The provider will be transporting during the school year from 0730-0815. After school 1420-1530. From El Capitan Middle School and McKinley Elementary School. Wed early out 1300-1340. The provider has proper car seats for all children. The provider will also transport with parent permission to field trips, local parks, and emergencies.

The provider does transport to and from El Cap and Mckinley.

Charging $10/transporation to and from school only.
Parent Involvement
-
I welcome parents to be partners in their child’s care and encourage parents to volunteer for field trips, activities, birthday parties, etc. whenever possible. I know parents are busy, and it is difficult to always find time to talk, but daily communication helps me to better meet your needs and the needs of your child. I meet individually with parents on a regular basis to discuss their child’s progress, share observations and work together to set individual goals and objectives for each child. I have an open-door policy and welcome parents to come by all I ask that respectfully it not be during the hours of nap. 1230-1445.

Illness
-
If your child has any of the following illnesses or conditions, you must keep your child home:

A temperature above 100.5 degrees Fahrenheit for children under 3 months
-
A temperature above 101.0 degrees Fahrenheit for children over 3 months
-
Vomiting (1 time in 24 hours)
-
Diarrhea (2 or more watery stools in 24 hours)
-
A rash or nits
-
Eye infection
-
Sore throat
-
Any Communicable-Disease
-
If it’s clear your child is just not feeling good
-
If the child is sent home and asked to be seen by a doctor. Parents must bring the child back with doctors’ note saying if they are contagious and how long they need to be out of care.

Children cannot return until 24hrs fever-free without the aid of medication
-
During flu season (Oct 1st – May 31) child having a temp of 100.0 degrees & one respiratory symptom such as runny nose, cough, congestion, sore throat, diarrhea. If they are unable to carry about our normal day due to illness they will be sicked out for 24 hours.

Children that are sicked out must remain out for a full 24hours after symptoms stop.
Medication
-
Any medication must be in the original bottle or container and prescription medications must include the original prescription label and instructions.

Any new medication must be given at home 24hrs prior to returning to care. This includes any new oral, vaccinations or creams or lotions.

The provider will not administer any medications, creams or sunscreen without written consent from a child’s parent.

No OTC medication at all.
Late Fees
-
Children must be picked up and dropped off, within hours of operation (Monday - Friday: 7 am – 5:30 pm) by an authorized person with state ID if requested. More than one early drop-off or late pick-up will result in a $10 additional fee per 15 minutes, due on the next day or following bill. More than three late pick-ups may result in termination of the contract.
Extended Care and Evening Care

Only provided with prior arrangements with the provider. Extended care is $10 per hr per child and must be paid at pickup for that day.

Evening Care will be provided with prior arrangement from the provider. Evening care will be $10 an hour or $45 total daily depending which is less.

These fees are additional to monthly childcare fees.
