Amanda's Little Academy

My name is Amanda Cory. I've been married to an amazing man for 15 years now. We have two children. Jayten who is 9 and Jolena who is 13. I started out my program years ago because I didn't like the types of programs that were out there for my own children. I wanted a more structured learning environment where the children were treated like family and the providers were dedicated to providing my children with a loving learning environment. This is what I stive to do. Provider great care to families and treat them like family. 

 

 I've been in the childcare field for the last 10 years. I've received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA, and Nafcc Accreditation during this time. I had an in-home FCC program for over 6 years with the military. During, this time I was also a mentor helping other providers with their programs. I am dedicated to making sure that each child grows developmentally in my program using their interest and needs to foster learning through play and experiences.

 

I use Mother Goose Time curriculum to help me developmentally meet the needs of the children and tailor them to individually fit each child. I use this for all children 6weeks to 13 years of age. I use open-ended play and art along with this curriculum as well. It is important that children are given opportunities to grow through experiences. I look forward to providing Quality Childcare to your family and your child.
